A POSCA WITH MY GRANDMA
‘'A POSCA WITH MY GRANDMA' is a conversation between grandmother and granddaughter about everyday matters. The global, the day-to-day, from my grandmother Rosa Moneo Vargas's living room. In each episode, which lasts less than 30 minutes, we discuss a specific topic, such as education, errands, cleaning, plants, friendship, grief, health… with feminism, Andalusian identity, and Romani culture always present in a cross-cutting way.
This daily video podcast has its complete first season (10 episodes) available on YouTube and Spotify. The directors are currently preparing to begin filming the second season, which will feature some very special guests.

‘'What Grandma Says to Her Granddaughter' is the show format of the podcast 'A POSCA WITH MY GRANDMA', hosted by my grandmother Rosa Moneo and me. We first broadcast this video podcast together in March 2023, and on October 4th of the same year, we premiered this format live in the Rosa Roige auditorium in the San Benito neighborhood of Jerez de la Frontera.
While in 'A POSCA WITH MY GRANDMA' we both address an everyday topic in each program, 'What the Grandma Says to the Granddaughter' tells the life story of Rosa; a grandmother who has become famous at 80 years of age.
With innate charm and ease, Rosa recounts her post-war childhood of poverty and misery. She describes how she lived crammed into old tenement houses, where cooking was done in the courtyard and the toilet was communal. She tells her story through the questions I ask her, supplemented by images, videos, and drawings I created.
Excitement and laughter are guaranteed with this intergenerational duo.
